The original deal was for £5.00 pm, but it has now been increased to £15 pm. This is for renting the Box ONLY. I get the full use of Netflix for £4.99 pm..

You had a discounted price. Now you're paying list price. By all means give Sky a call to seem if you can negotiate a further discount, or give notice to cancel.

@GandM1965 The price isn't just for renting the box though is it? you get access to the content provided as part of that package and life of contract support/maintenance/repair or replace.

The list cost for Television Essentials is £15, frequently discounted to £10 or £5 for an initial minimum term (particularly during the pandemic)

Reversion to list cost at the end of a minimum term is entirely normal.
