Money taken out bank

Why have sky taken money out my bank for my broadband when I have already paid it manually...

Because you shouldn't be manually paying your bill. When you manually pay it will be going as credit to your account for the following month's bill, this is because as bills are generated 2 weeks before the billing date it is at this time the automated payment bia direct debit or debit/credit card is being scheduled.

 

Its worth noting that the T&Cs do state you have to have either a direct debit or a debit or credit card setup on your account so that the payments can be taken automatically.

@Evie79  Why are paying a bill manually when you have a Direct debit setup, as you've made this payment the error is yours not Sky.

 

As noted making a manual payment won't stop a direct debit being collected.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
