Our direct debit should of come out today but it come out of my partners bank and he has left the property can I pay it another way please

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@NathanTeddy what normally happens if you miss a payment is that Sky try again in around 10 days time. If you change your bank details now, I'm not sure that they'll be picked up in time for when the second attempt is made, which may means that it will fail again.
The simplest way to deal with it, I think, if it's at all possible, is for your partner to pay and for you to reimburse them.
If the Sky account is in your partner's name, it would be best for them to cancel so that you can start a new account in your own name. There have been lots of posts from other customers who have come unstuck by leaving the account in someone else's name.
