Mine and my Daughters accounts seem to be linked when they shouldn’t be…. HELP
Can anyone help me before I lose my mind with Sky.
Last year my husband helped get my daughters get a brand new Sky account set up, completely separate account from ours, different products, different address etc.
Our contract is in my name but he can act on my behalf etc.
he and she worked with the person at Sky to get her own contract set up when she moved out.
Since then they seemed to have screwed up our accounts by linking them in some way, and no one at Sky seems to have a clue on what they are talking about or how to fix it.
Basically when I now log into my own account, with my own email id etc, all I can see is my daughters details, address, bills, products etc. and it shows her email address in my details. I cannot see my bills, products, address etc, it's all her details. So when I am logged on i- with my email id - it shows my first name at the top, but all the details are hers. I am a diamond member, but it shows as silver membet as that's what she is - so I also cannot access any of my diamond rewards either.
When she logs into her own account - with her own email - , it also has my name at the top, but she can see all her own details, address, bills etc.
If I change my password it locks her out, if she changes her password it locks me out of everything including my email.
The only linking asked for was so my husband could call on her behalf if she ever needed it, neither of us have done any linking to each others accounts ourselves .
We have spoken to so many people at Sky and we get different answers each time, and nothing fixes the problem. Today we got "but they are the same contract' (no they aren't), then they transferred us to tech su-port where we held on f-r 40 mins and then got a message to say lines are now closed........
previously we have had "she must have linked you so she is the authorised user" (no she hasn't), and no matter where we look in either account we cannot see anything linking either of us to the other at all... not "Authorised" or 'secondary' user. And Sky said they couldn't help either.....
does anyone have any ideas, as I am on the brink of cancelling my account with Sky and moving elsewhere due to this....

It sounds like a right muddle so when calling again see if you can get to speak to someone from the ID team, if they are of no help you might want to register a complaint:
