Leaving Sky, been a customer for over 20 yrs as Sky is prioritising deals for New Customers

I been with Sky over 20yrs & now out of contract.

Seeing the deals on offer to new Customers, I spoke which the Retention's team yesterday who say they cannot offer anything close to the new Customer offer & the best available was £25 a month higher with a small saving on the current bill.

They 'suggested' if I cancel they might offer a better deal but wouldn't offer any discounts.

Has anyone been able prices close to the new Customer offers or is it time to leave Sky?

@Anonymous

Most, if not all providers do this now. From recent posts on here it does seem that decent deals are increasingly hard to find. If you choose to leave the same will happen at the end of your discounted deal with whoever you go with. Once you've been away for 18 months you'll be able to rejoin Sky and benefit from new customer discounts.

@Anonymous you'll be lucky to get a price close to a new customer deal. You might get a more substantial discount, perhaps after your 31 days notice has expired, if you go ahead and cancel.
