Costs increased from 27.50 per month to over 55.00 broadband has gone from 27.50 to 39.50 andd sky talk anytime was free and is now 13.50.  plus extra call charges.  The contract was until September.  This seems unfair can I challenge

@Carolgoff

Sky Talk Anytime is going up to £16pm and Sky Talk Anytime International up to £18pm. That still leaves a quite a lot in what you've described as 'extra call charges'.

Re: Just taken over the account after my husband died it's broadband and telephone. Costs increase

Breakdown of costs showing :

Broadband was 27.50 and is now 39.50

Sky talk anytime was free and is now 13.50

And increasing to 16.00 by the looks of it.

The extra call charges were 2.95

Hope that makes more sense.  My query is other than the name change there hasn't been anything else changing surely they should have honoured the pricing agreements made until September which would be the renewal date

@Carolgoff

I've edited my earlier post. Please see the link that shows Sky Talk Anytime rises from £13.50 to £16. It wasn't free.

There is the annual price rise which happens in the UK in April which affects all contracts. Very few deals Sky offer are for a fixed price, it's the discounts you get as part of the contract that are fixed but the list price will rise once a year.

You can exit the phone and broadband contract penalty free within 30 days of being notified of the price increase,
