I'm in need of a telephone number for Sky Broadband. My sky is running so slow I can't download documents, need this fixed as that's what I'm employed for.
Why are sky expecting other users to answer any queries and not having their own staff to do this. I've been with Sky for over 19 years and this is the first time that I'm having problems. Come on Sky, answer your own problems and help your customers to achieve what they are paying for.

To call Sky dial 150 (free) from a your Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile or alternatively use the following link
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ leading to a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ to see a dedicated ROI number.
The posting of full phone numbers isn’t permitted on the forum.
Any calls to Sky will initially be automated which may try to send you here to the forum, offer you online help or offer to send you a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Thank you, I'm seriously thinking of leaving Sky after 19+ years. Their support is non-existent. Just lead you round and round in a never ending loop.
Why don't they just offer a phone number. Even more curious is why you can't put a phone number on their community discussion forum.
Again thank you, I have achieved success in being able to speak to a human with your help; although my problem hasn't been solved as I received a random response from someone who clearly didn't know how to fix the problem. Only success is that I am receiving a new hub, hopefully that fixes the problem. If not I'll be back in touch with them.

I think likely for 2 reasons. Firstly if Sky changed their phone number the old number would be present all over their forums which likely wouldn't help customres. Secondly i'd suspect banning phone numbers greatly prohibits potential scammers from comming to the forum and trying to scam customers into phoning them.

The idea is customers are pointed in the direction of online help and also us on the Community therefore reducing the number of calls to Customer Services (and the queues for that) and therefore reducing staff costs which would be passed on to customers.
