Hello,
I recently moved address in February & continued with my sky contract. My last direct debit was taken 23rd January , my account now says -£197 and payment received 7th April , does this mean I'm in credit? I've checked that the direct debit is still in place & it is so I'm really confused as to why it's not been taken since January ? Wondered if it had something to do with moving address ?

it could be your in credit or it could be that sky have taken 197 from your bank especially if it's saying payment received

you are being billed monthly in advance between 7th and 6th each month
sky took a payment of £196.70 from your bank account on the 7th April to cover the period 7th April to 6th May
note that payment won't actually leave your account until the 7th April at the earliest
