Indian Call Centre

Does anyone know how I can contact the UK Customer Services for Sky? Each time I use one of the numbers provided, it automatically diverts me to India.

I have been misled about my contract and all the Indian centre does is keep referring to the contract which is wrong.

I was called by a UK customer service person and given a package free which I am now being charged for.

What I need is a telephone number so I can speak to someone in the UK.

Thete is no way to avoid this when calling as it is pot luck as to where the call is routed so try raising a complaint instead as they should then contact you:

'free' items rarely last in perpetuity.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

Re: Indian Call Centre

Hi

I have raised a complaint and it said I would contacted within 24 hours but nobody has contacted me. I also raised a complaint with the Indian CS and the manager said he would resolve it within 24 hours but has not contatced me.

@jakekeelan  Unfortunately there isn't muchbn we as fellow customers can do about not getting callbacks.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Indian Call Centre

I have to agree with you here - I've had a similar issue. The staff in India are very polite and try hard but communication is not easy and doesn't instil confidence.  They were not able to sort my issue, the agent became a little exasperated and then I was cut off. Ive called several times hoping to have a UK agent take the call but I've only ever got through to India. I think a UK number should be provided, so particularly tricky technical issues that are  hard to explain can be dealt with more effectively.

Re: Indian Call Centre

I have exactly the same problem.  Been without my mobile phone now for a week.  So far I've spoken to 5 people, one via chat.  One of them actually just put the phone down on me after less than a minute before I'd even explained what the issue was.  As another person has said, they are very helpful but do not communication skills or knowledge to resolve any queries.  I've also had very conflicting info from different agents.  One telling me that they were inbound calls only so unable to call me back & that I would have to call again (in another week!!!) for an update.  Online chat said they could call me back.  Any previous calls I've got through to a UK person, usually Scottish, but for some reason this time, always an Indian call centre.  Very frustrating.

Re: Indian Call Centre

For what I have read, the best way is to email the CEO. Email can be found on the Internet. She obviously does not get the email, but I understand that whichever department gets them are very efficient I have given notice to Sky after 9 years with them purely because of their Indian call center/complaint department who have absolutely NO idea what customer service even mean...

Lol! I myself just tried emailing the CEO!!  Got a phone call back from the Indian Call Center.   Hung up in a rage as the call centre agent had t read or understood the email, was convinced I wanted SKY Glass!

At no point do I want SKY glass!

Re: Indian Call Centre

Is there any uk call centres? It's too difficult to understand their Indian call centres, they're trying but the language barrier makes confident conversations too difficult

Yes there are, but there's no way to select which call centre you're connected to when you call.

Re: Indian Call Centre

I've been with Sky for almost 15 years and trying to re-contract and move my broadband to Sky, spent 20 minutes talking (with difficulty) to someone in India on Weds 8/11. When she'd given me the best price she could I said I'll think about it and would call back - she then started to tell me how much work sh'd done for me. I told her I didn't deny that and wasn't arguing with her and in the end I hung up whilst she continued.

After trying yesterday to sign up to the deal I'd been offered I was told fibre broadband wasn't available in my area despite my already having it installed! Another 30 minute call with no success - I then submitted a complaint.

Received a response to my complaint today from someone in India  - apparentley I told the first person I spoke to that I wasn't happy with the deal offered, a total lie.

I'm looking to leave Sky and taking my business elsewhere - if offshore operayors are allowed to lie in notes about customers I'm not sure anyone would want to be a Sky customer.

@Anonymous
Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount so if you’re offered something acceptable you need to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available as you've unfortunately discovered.
