Hi,
My subscription ends today and has gone up massively. The offers for new customers are nearly the same as I pay now (taking in to account the increase coming up). I spoke to Sky and they will not give me a 'new customer' deal.
If I cancel my contract, giving 31 days notice, when would I be classed as a new customer?
I don't really want to change to virgin, but cannot afford the increase and can't reduce my package.
Thanks.

Thanks, when I said I would cancel the guy at Sky told me to keep hold of the box and try after the 31 days notice but this seemed rather odd!

@Debsneedshelp you might get some come back offers near the end of your notice period that might be what he meant but they won't be anything like new customer prices
