Everytime i call Sky support they just provide me with general broadband/wi-fi advice (reboot the hub etc).  the support staff don't seem to appreciate the incompatibility issue.  I've tried asking to speak to a manager but that doesn't seem to be possible until all other avenues (none of which will work) have been exhausted.  I've been on the phone 3 or 4 times now so just frustrated.  I'd prefer to now try and convey the issue via email or chat.

@Jeff_G given the technical nature of the issue, I'd suggest putting it in writing, by way of a complaint. There's a form you can use here to register a complaint (or an old-fashioned letter, of course).

I'm also having this problem. There is never a human being at the end of a phone and funnily enough ROBOTS and automated voices do not understand what [content removed] is going on. Where are all the human beings at Sky??? Can you not afford to pay people to man your phones? Highly doubtful.

The lines are presumably busy so you'll need to be patient and persevere on the phone. Billing continues throughout the notice period.

How did you cancel? Did you receive confirmation? If Sky consider you to be in arrears, they won't talk to you until you put it right.

I just need a customer service phone number as I have been through the chat but several times and it doesn't know what I need incredibly frustrating

150 from your phone is the number to call Sky on unless we can help you on here ?

 

When calling try saying nothing if asked any questions by the bot.
