I will cancel Sky if i cant get a better deal

I have not got time to do this on line. Its tpo complicated. There are two providers offering mych better deals and unless i can reduce my monthly payment i will be cancelling Sky

@Kiambu1960  to negotiate a deal you need to call 

 

Any acceptable offer you receive must be accepted on the spot as won't be available next time you call

or if you have sky mobile/talk call 150 Calls to Sky Customer Services from your Sky Talk landline phone or a Sky mobile are free

The start will be automated which may try to send you here to the forum or suggest you receiving a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and don’t hang up. If necessary say nothing when the automated system asks you what your call is about as it should then route your call into a queue for the next available agent.

Yep, that would ultimately be the way to go. However, a better deal won't just land in your lap, you'll havwe to make the effort to negotiate.

@Kiambu1960 

Those will be offers for new customers. Better discounts are offered to new customers as an incentive for them to join.

 

If you choose to jump ship and go with another provider then in 18/24 months you'll be in the same position with that provider and if you want you'll be able to return to Sky as a new customer.

Note other providers will be able to switch broadband services but not TV if you have them,

 

If you want to leave TV then you have to call Sky to give 31 days notice.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
