Hi, I'm feeling pretty mad right now. Sky have been trying to call me for ages so I finally picked up today and was told congratulations you have been with Sky for 25 years and we're going to give you free sky sports for the rest of your contract which is 24 months. I was assured it will cost me nothing. I don't actually watch sports but as it's free I thought what the heck. However, I checked my future bill and it had gone up. I called Sky and a very helpful agent worked out that they offer was only for one month after which time I would be billed so he has taken it off my account and escalated it. So this is hopefully resolved but it just made me mad at Sky... I hope this will be a warning to others.

I was still feeling frustrated, I spoke to the customer loyalty team...a very helpful agent spent about 40 minutes with me sorting out my package including cancelling Sports. and found some other savings. I ended up with faster broadband and savings of about £17 a month off my previous bills!

Re: I was offered free sky sports as I have been a customer for 25 years BUT...
Sky Sports is rarely offered free for the entire length of a discounted period. It's usually just one or occasionally two months then reverts to a higher, but usually discounted, price.

Thanks @Daniel0210 I was told my other offers would be adjusted to make it zero cost. I was told by the person on the followup call that they would listen to the call recording with sales, but it has all left a bad feeling with me.
