I want to join Sky but I can’t because an account is already registered to my address.

I've never known it to be so hard to buy something! I want to buy Sky Stream but when I to, the website asks me for a direct debit account number. I don't have a direct debit because I would be a new customer!

The number it advises I ring is an automated bot that says my number isn't associated with an account.

I can't speak to anyone and I can't buy anything.

@Lemon3  The forum can't help with sales issues as we are  all customers here.  If there is a service already registered at the address the question would be are you moving to this property or already moved?

If the former then you won;t be able to order until the occupants move and tell Sky.  If the latter the previous occupants may not have updated Sky and there for you'll need to persist calling.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Are you sure it isn't asking you for the payment details as a new customer ?

Yes I am sure.

My guess is that my address is associated with another Sky account as we moved here a few months ago.

I've tried calling various numbers all day but the bots require a phone number associated with Sky, which I am not.

Have you been a Sky customer in the past at a different address and then cancelled ?

If you are unable to call then see if you have more luck by contacting Sky via their social media sites, links to which can be found at the bottom of the page.
