I want to confirmation that my boardband has been cancelled as I am still be charges for BB and chat

Hi, I cancelled my broadband last month, and I see on my Sky account that I am still be charged for BB and Talk. All I want to keep is the TV package. I can't get to talk to anyone apart from a call centre which I keep getting cut off from.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated, I think it is extremely unfair that you cannot email Sky directly.

When did you cancel? Did you receive emailed or written confirmation of cancellation?

How did you cancel? Did you receive an email from Sky Ireland confirming the cancellation? 

Billing continues through the 14 day BB notice period then any overpayment is refunded in up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection. Don't forget bills are generated 14 days before the payment date.

No, but I know they have cancelled it. But as you will see, I am still being charged for BB and Talk all I want to keep is the TV package.

Hi Daniel,

I know it takes time, but they are still charging me. I spoke to their call centre and they only the broadband was cancelled. I explained when I cancelled that all I wanted to keep was the tv. thanks.

If they haven't confirmed the cancellation via an email it sounds like the cancellation didn't go through. You'll need to call Sky Ireland to clarify the position.

You did answer this question plus what date was it supposed to be cancelled on so should have been your last day for Talk and Broadband ?
