I have tried calling over a matter of months to cancel my TV account as it is not being used and you are still taking money from me. This is my final demand for cancellation and I will be cancelling the direct debit. Everytime I have called you keep me on the phone for over half an hour then cut me off and do not call me back and then just take another months payment.

You will need to call Sky or use the following link https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
On the link provided (In the UK) it should include a Message Us option between 0900-1930.
You can also call on 150 from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk line
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.
If you don't see the Contact options on the link above make sure java script is enabled on your browser.

Note that on current contracts it's not possible to cancel subscription television within a minimum term: ceasing a direct debit will just cause debt to build up.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSometimes wait times can be longer than 30 minutes.
To cancel all your TV subscription, if you’re out of contract you’ll need to give Sky the required 31 days notice. The latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree. If they agree you’ll have to pay the remainder of your discounted term.
Return packaging for Sky Q equipment will be sent out near the end of your notice period. Obtain proof of posting and keep it safe and indefinitely..

You can cancel online without having to hang around on the phone. If you use this link and click on the 'need more help' button at the bottom, you'll get the option for an online Messenger chat. This is usually much quicker and easier, plus gives you a written record of the cancellation agreement.

Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to contact details.

(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link may include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by calling Sky Ireland or writing in.
If you are cancelling Sky Q, return packaging will be sent out near the end of your notice period. Obtain proof of posting and keep it safe and indefinitely.
▪️
To cancel Sky Broadband and Sky Talk totally, or if you’re moving to a provider like Virgin Media or City Fibre etc who don’t use the Openreach set up, you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days, but if you are still in the initial 18 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband
If you are changing to another provider who also uses the Openreach infrastructure then join up with them and they should contact Sky on your behalf.
Return packaging will be sent out to you near the end of the notice period. Remember to keep any proof of posting indefinitely.
