Ive paid a large amount to clear my account and rather than do this its kept it as a credit anount. Why has it not cleared down?

May depend on how and when you did this. Perhaps it's not cleared by the bank yet.

What service is this, are you trying to pay off a credit agreement for Sky Glass or Mobile ?
