I received a call from sky

Nothing to do with 02, this entire conversation and thread is about scam calls from so called sky, piggybacking off genuine numbers, read the thread before commenting on your provider

I've been receiving calls almost daily from freephone number ending 3372. I can't answer the calls while working and if I wanted to make any changes to my contract, I'd contact Sky direct.

I've now had a message left in a foreign language. It feels like harassment at this point.

I cant post the full number as it's "not allowed or been repeated too many times". Yeah, you're not kidding. I've had 9 calls over the last 9 working days, 2 calls today alone.

Can you be sure these calls are from Sky as number shown when receiving a call can be spoofed by scammers should that be them calling you.

Your clearly part of the scammers because your wording and pronunciation is way off acceptable English

Block the numbers calling you if possible if calls continue after that then they are scam piggybacking calls

I've been getting a call from this number almost weekly and finally answered it today, it was from an indian call centre claiming to be from Sky.
I see from this thread that they maybe but when they siad they were calling to reduce my monthly bill I repilied "I'd be surprised if that was true as I'm in contract for another 12 months" they hung up!!

If it is on behalf of Sky, I would get yourselves another call company as these people are **bleep**!

Aside from blocking numbers on my phone, I sometimes engage by

• answering the call and just go silent 
• pretending I cannot hear them, "what did  you say?"  I can't hear you!" "Who?"
• tell them "better offer?  That's interesting tell me more as  I don't have a TV, or electricity as I live in a cave"

But my main MO is not to accept any offers from unsolicited sales calls (including legitimate companies)

As a previous staff member i would have loved to talk to them about my sky bill

i had the same number ringing me everyday  didnt recognise the number eventually i answered the phone and he said im from sky and i said you called me at the wrong time and he hang up! He sounded like he's calling from abroad and he may be fraudster.
