@DavidWK As an FYI without the proof of postage it will be completely up to Sky's discretion over whether or not the non-return fee is cancelled or not.

@DavidWK

We can escalate your post to Sky if you wish but without proof of posting any cancellation of non return fees will be at Skys discretion. Lets us know if you want to go down that route.

@DavidWK
I’ve escalated your post to Sky and the Messaging Team may contact you later.

Look out for a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread fairly regularly.

This link explains the process.

@Jrskyt
I will escalate your post to Sky in about 10 minutes and the Messaging Team may contact you later.

edit: escalated @Jrskyt

You need to watch out for a message from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then look out for a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Re: I have returned my equipment but sky is asking for it

Hi

I returned by sky boxes nearly 2 years ago but now Sky are saying I didn't and have sold my supposed debt to a credit agency which has now gone on my credit file. I'm tamping. Sky are asking me for proof of purchase from 2 years ago.

Any suggestions? Is the charge at Sky's discretion?

Re: I have returned my equipment but sky is asking for it

Hi,

I'm in the same position as a lot of other people here. I have sent the sky equipment back but have had an email and text from sky saying they haven't received it.

I have proof of posting from 3/1.

can anybody help?
thanks

Jon

@JC4426

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this, so if the bubble hasn't appeared by 7pm it will be tomorrow that they will contact you by it:

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.
