I have paid my bill but sky is still trying to take it

I paid my bill manually a day before it was due and now sky is still trying to take the payment even though it states on my account the bill has been paid, I they have tried to take it out my bank 8 times even though I pay through bank or credit card not direct debit

Why are you making a manual payment? There's no need to and doing so is why you find yourself in this position. You'll need to call Sky as to why they are trying to take it the way they are. I would recommend not making manual payments unless requested to by Sky.

I payed on the 11 October  by manual payment 

And not letting book home move

If you have a continuous payment method set up you should never need to make a manual payment. A credit will appear on your account for the amount you have overpaid. This should automatically be used to pay your next bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account. I would recommend not making manual payments unless requested to by Sky.

Give Sky a call to book it.
