I have moved out of my property in june. I oaid by dd til November. My ex partner said he would tak

I moved out of my property in July I carried on paying dd til November then cancelled after speaking to sky and my ex partner said he would supply new dd . I have had email to say there is a bill outstanding and my ex has now moved out and not cancelled the account. What should I do

@Helen+Edwatds  Was the account in your name or his ?

 

if yours you are responsible for the account and only you can cancel , you would need to reinstate payment details clear any debt before being able to start the cancellation process 

 

if your ex was the account holder then he is liable not you 

 

An account cannot be transferred
