I had already signed up to not receive paper invoices. This has worked up until January where I received a paper-bill in the post. Why did I receive a paper bill? Who changed this and why? Needless to say I do NOT need a paper bill. I will this time around pay the 75 cents admin charge on the bill but will not pay any admin fees onwards as I have not asked for a paper bill, quite the contrary.
I hardly think this is the right forum for such a query as it should be related to my account and not a more generic query which this forum appears to be!

This does not work when located in ROI. I have yet again received a paperbill and tried calling to get through so some automated machine which has sent me a text directing me back to the website - NOT helpful!
Also my bill is due on the 26th which is today hence it is NOT overdue which your system is indicating when I login.

As a follow-up I have paid my outstanding bill amount but deducting the 75 cents you have charged me for a paperbill ! I fully expect SKY will be crediting the 75 cents.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreNot our system. You’re not talking to Sky Customer Services on here. This is a customer based forum where customers try to help other customers.
You need to persevere on the phone to Sky Ireland and explain the problem. Don't hang up and if a text if offered say "No".
You can call Sky free by dialling 150 from a Sky Talk landline or a Sky Mobile, otherwise you can use:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0818 number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).
You will find that similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send you back to the forum.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreOur posts crossed. You won't be credited anything by Sky without talking to an agent. If full payment hasn't been made you may find services are eventually restricted.

you are missing the point - I never get through to a person when ringing! And I fully expect Sky to correct the mistake they have made by sending a paperbill when its not requested unless of course their customer service is as bad as my impression is beginning to be. Probably need to ring sales to speak to a person!
No need to respond to this message - unfortunately I haven't found this forum helpful.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI understand your point. Sky won't refund your 75 cents on the back of what you've posted on the forum. Your Sky account isn't linked to your forum log-in name so no one knows who you are. Sky will just wonder why you've withheld full payment and if you don't pay what they believe you owe they'll restricted your services.
If changing the paperless bill option on and off doesn't work you will have to contact Sky.
edit- incidentally Sky Ireland Customer Services aren't open over weekends just in case your were trying over the last couple of days.
