When I have an issue with sky I call and the issue is dealt with. Great .
but within 2 days I get calls from "sky" offering huge discounts on my bill
this is obviously a scam but it would appear to me that a sky employee is passing on information ie my phone number for use in scam calls .. I suppose if you are going to have call centres in far away lands you will get this .. anyone else getting this and what is sky doing about internal security of protecting our data

It's more likely the scammers are simply sequential dialling.

No I did not phone sky it's hard enough getting to speak someone when you have a problem let alone getting scam calls

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreUnfortunately there isn't anything Sky can do to prevent these types of calls. The advice normally given is if the customer isn't convinced the call is genuinely from Sky to hang up and call Sky by the genuine numbers provided here
