I cant contact sky by telphone

Sky wrongly claim my account is in arrears which Ihave disputed.There does not seem to be a way to contact sky without paying my disputed bill. Does anyonehave a way to contact skywithout paying moneythat i do not owe! Ihave beenpromised a callback but never received it. GladIam leaving this appalling service!

Unfortunately Sky won't take your calls whilst services are restricted. You could try calling from a phone not linked to your account but that probably won't work.

 

You will need to pay what Sky say you owe, set up a new payment method then contact Sky to dispute an element of your bill. Of course any mistake in the bill will be reimbursed.


If your payments are already two or more weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well. It’s worth noting that it you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription.

You should be able to pay the bill and set up your direct debit via the MySky app or online using this link

They have already taken over £100 from my bank account that they are not entitled to. I am not paying them a penny more!

The method I've suggested is the only way to resolve this.

 

Refusal to pay your bills will just

  • add late payment fees
  • potential referral to a Debt Collection company 
  • possibly impacting your credit score
  • you can't cancel your subscription whilst restricted/in arrears

Why do you think they're not entitled to it? What does your bill show that's wrong?

Billing continues right up to the day you leave so this can happen during the notice period, so when you have left the overpayment is then refunded to you.

Whilst annoying it's quite normal.

 

As noted, billing continues during your notice period as normal including monthly in-advance charges even if this is past your cessation date.

 

The following bill will generate a credit pro-rata back to cessation.

 

Try to circumvent this automated process isn't recommended.

That's sounds great. My services should have ceased on 8th November but they kept taking money for servicesafter that date and then claimed my services hadn't been cancelled. The sky box hasn't been plugged in since 24th October when I swapped to EE. I don't see why I have to pay for services outside my contract period. My services were transferred by EE and so they should be arguing with EE not robbing me!

EE cannot transfer TV services.  If you haven't told Sky then you haven't cancelled.

 

If it's broadband then the OTS system should work but there have been teething issues.  If your Sky broadband was cancelled then you would receive confirmation of such.
