I cancelled my subscription but Sky are still taking my direct debit. How do I get my money back?

I cancelled my TV and broadband package back in October last year but Sky have still been taking my direct debit. How do I get my money back?

How did you cancel? Did you receive confirmation of cancellation from Sky?

@MP33  How did you cancel?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

i phoned sky. they cancelled broadband but not tv

@MP33 If you think you cancelled TV at that time your option is to file a complaint using the Complaints option in the forum footer.

 

Sky will then get in touch. If you are unhappy with their response you can then ask them to escalate it for review. If you are still unhappy with their response ask for a deadlock letter.

 

Once you have this you can go to CISAS to adjudicate on the matter.

@MP33 yep, that's what you'll have to do, I'm afraid.  What problem are you having with contacting them when you call?

cancel that. Got through (eventually) to a really nice woman in Glasgow who was very helpful
