I cancelled my boardband but no refund received yet

I informed Sky I am switching the provider on 4th Aug and finally cancelled my broadband to move to Vodafone on 8th Sept. They collected my final payment for  6th Sept - 6th Oct, so I called Sky hotline and they assured me that I would get a refund for the service not used. 6 weeks passed but I still cannot receive any refund even cannot see there is a credit on my account. Can someone tell me how to get the money refunded back as soon as possible as there is zero update after 40 days! The last email I got from Sky is they confirmed they have received my equipment on 16th Sept!

Appreciate if there is any suggestions regarding to my case.

Refunds should normally take about six weeks from the last day of connection but posts on here suggest it's taking longer.

 

We could normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team but unfortunately that process is currently unavailable and we don't know when it'll return.

 

At present you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; either by calling, through Sky Assistant or through social media, Providing your payment method is still active they should then be able to refund it in 3-5 WORKING days.
