I am a new subscriber.my bill is not what I was told on the phone


I was a BT customer broadband customer for over 20 years. In November I looked at Uswitch and thought I would contact SKY as the price was good on that platform.
It was the end of November and I tried to sign up for sky broadband and Talk, as advertised on uswitch. The site would not accept my credit card, my husbands credit card, or my sons credit card at the time. So we rang Sky on the 4/12/23 at about 6:30 to check what the problem was. The lady said that that was a black Friday offer and was no longer usable.

But we said it is still being advertised on Uswitch which was quite correct. She spoke to her manager and who decided that we could have sky broadband and any time talk for the price of £36 a month , which was better than our BT deal. We agreed to this. But then she said her manager had said that they could throw in sky streaming in the bundle , and in fact this was only £36 all together for the first 18 months. We were very pleased and told all our friends. I was sent a contract on 4/12/23 for Sky Broadband and Talk but not TV.
We started with Sky on the 18 th December. I was very surprised to receive a bill for £26:70 a month for broadband and Talk and also £23 a month for streaming. The TV streaming was not discounted as we were told. 
This was not what we were told on the phone. There are 3 witnesses to the phone conversation. I hope you have a recording of that call.

Hi, When becoming a new customer with Sky the first 2 bills are usually higher to get you into the billing system. Sky bill you from the date your services went active to the date your bill is due and then a month in advance. After the first 2 bills your offers etc will settle down to the agreed amount

Thank you for your link. I couldn't find it before. They are going to listen to the phone call and that should clear things up.
