I DO NOT HAVE A SKY ACCOUNT BUT RECEIVING EMAILS ABOUT MY SKY ACCOUNT

I live in the US, have always lived in the US, and I have never had a SKY account.  However, I have recently begun receiving emails that my SKY TV streaming account is past due.   The emails are addressed to a name similar to mine, but not exact, and the email does include an account number.   Is this a scam or an error in the SKY records?  Is there a phone number I can call from the US?

@Dg1414  It's likely someone has used an incorrect email address, there is no international number to call Sky, and even if there were they would not be able to discuss any of the account details they hold due to GDPR regulations in the UK & Europe as you're not the account holder.

I'm with @GD1 with this, somebody has probably made a mistake with their email address so instead of them receiving these emails you are.

As an addition, move it to spam and just ignore any future emails from Sky 👌
