How do I get my £18.00 credit back after closing my account

Having closed my account it now shows that I'm due just over £18.00 credit which will be used against my next bill? Because I no longer have a service how can they apply a credit against it. I was told not to close my account inorder for any credit to be payed back Into. So I find it strange they're not repaying it.

Refunds can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection. If you can confirm it’s showing as a credit on your Sky account we can help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

Re: How do I get my £18.00 credit back after closing my account

Hi @Daniel0210

The amount showing as a credit towards my next bill is £18.33.

If this could be repayed sooner rather than later I could then close my account.

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and the Messaging Team should contact you later.

You need to watch out for a post from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread fairly regularly.

This link explains what happens.

Re: How do I get my £18.00 credit back after closing my account

Just wanted to say that asking the sky community forum about I receive my refund they were brilliant in helping me resolving my query.

I received a communication from Sky yesterday telling me the refund was being returned to me within the next 2-3 days.

Thanks to @Daniel0210  and @Mr+Flibbles+86 @@@ @@ for your assistance.
