Find out moreBear in mind the latest T’s and C’s for TV subscriptions explicitly state you can't cancel your TV subscription during a minimum discounted term unless agreed to by Sky. If they allow you to leave you’ll basically have to pay off the rest of your discounted term. If/When you are out of contract you need to contact Sky to reduce any part of your package or cancel it completely giving the required notice of 31 days. If you cancel correctly you should receive a confirmation email from Sky.
If you’re cancelling Sky Q totally don’t forget it’s very important that you keep you proof of posting indefinitely when you return the box(es) as Unipart are not quick at telling Sky you have sent equipment back.

Our Sky Q contract ends on April 9th and the current charge increases from £47 per month to £70 per month by May.
I assume that there will also be a CPI plus increase from April that I have not been notified about yet?
If I want to cancel at the end date do I give notice on March 9th?
Regards

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreUnlike some other providers, Sky's increase is not linked to CPI. My increase worked out to around 10% - pretty much in line with inflation. Customers haven't been notified yet, but your April bill should include the increase.
Yes, 31 days notice to cancel is required.
