So I've been signed off work by my doctor and have a sick note.
I contacted sky via the 'chat' department trying to cancel because I just can't afford the £90'odd they've been taking firbthe last 4 years and apparently I can only cancel the broadband and talk but I have no choice with the TV side and I MUST jeep paying for that till the contract ends..
Even this I can not afford so where do I stand ?
Surely I am in my rights to cancel everything ? I understand there will be a fee but to force me to remain is not right.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreNo. The latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree. If they agree you’ll have to pay the remainder of your discounted term.

The terms you agreed say:
"Your Sky Q subscription package has a minimum term (usually 12, 18 or 24 months) and you cannot
cancel your subscription during the minimum term unless you have a contractual right to do so."
