HD subscription charges

Just renewed my contract, did this through online chat I was told that the price eventually offered was the best available, I have since found that this is not the case & will be contacting Sky again.

Before I do would like some clarification on HD charges

Sky Sports HD

Sky HD

Ultra HD

All are on the bill ,but do I actually need all 3

Sky Sports comes in HD by default so that is the name of the package itself rather than just a charge for Sports in HD.

The HD pack allows you to view the entertainment channels in HD, so those not part of Sports or Movies where available.

Ultra HD is the same as above and allows you to view channels in Ultra HD where available,

Further to that, if you take 'ultra hd', you have to have 'sky hd' too

The separate HD fee would be discounted from the price you pay for the sports package, so the £32 before discount would have been £38 but for some reason some people such as yourself do see a separate charge for Sports in HD when for others the charge is included in the Sports package itself.
