H
Been with Sky Tv for 3 years . Contract came to an end November 25. Got a call to offer same tv package and broadband for £76 month. Told advisor we had not long started new contract with Talk Talk for b/band. Told me that Sky will pay up to £200 early termination fee. Agreed to it and had £100 credited for early termination and being charged £86 month for tv. Emailed switching team 4 times, rang tv side 3 times. Keep getting lies that it will be sorted. Feel I've been scammed/ misled into taking this contract out. Advice please as I feel I just want to stop paying d/debit and let courts sort it

Cancelling the payment method is definitely not recommended and it will cause additional problems. The relevant services will be restricted, you won't be able to call Sky, the account can't be cancelled, late payment fees will be added and eventually Sky could involve a debt recovery company which may affect your credit rating.
Have you checked future bills to see if the amounts have been amended and a credit applied?

The court system is the last resort and they don't just 'sort it'.
The next step would be a formal complaint and if it's not resolved then Ombudsman Services.
