Fee payable if I only receive calls on my phone?

I have a second sim which I only use as an emergency backup number to RECEIVE calls only. It is in my Samsung tablet.

My main sim is in my Samsung phone.

Is a monthly fee payable to Sky if I never make calls on a sim?

As soon as this sim is activated then the monthly fee is payable regardless of what you use the sim for.

Unfortunately Sky only do monthly contract SIM's - no PAYG.

They sometimes offer low monthly charges on some SIM's.  (Even 'free')

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

Sky only do monthly & not Pay as you Go. If the SIm is mainly used for incoming calls then you may be better with Payg with another supplier for that SIM - 3 does this.

You're welcome. I use 3 on a old/backup phone so just top up when needed which can be years apart. You may have to send a text or make a call every 6 months though to keep the number active.
