Been with Sky for well over 5 years and each year it creeps up and up. This year they have whacked on a £13 p/m increase taking my monthly payment to £119 p/m (tv, broadband and phone - even though I dont use the landline).
With no easy way to talk to someone about it, can anyone advise whether it's even worth trying? I know 'back in the day' if you threatend to cancel Sky would give you a good offer but seems loyalty counts for nothing now!

What Sky TV services do you have? Based on my experience renewal deals for Sky + hD and Q were pretty awful and i had to be willing to switch over to Sky Glass or Sky Stream to get what i felt was a really decent deal (30% saving in TV subscription with some extra content thrown in on top).
For broadband i couldn't get any decent discount so I just switched over to NOW broadband (which is essentially Sky broadband) at about a 33% decrease on the same package i'm was on and i grabbed additional cashback on top via the well known cashback sites.

Yes we have Sky Q & HD plus multiroom as my parents live in the house and have their own living room so need multiroom.
Might be able to have a look around for a better broadband - its a minefield isn't it!

Almost all ISPs applied an increase in April 2023 based on the Consumer Price Index in December 2022 which was historically high, and for many it was CPI plus an additional percentage, which Sky didn't do.
BT, for example used CPI at 10.5% with 3.9% on top of that for a 14.4% rise.
