I moved to this address beginning of December, 12 months into 18 contract. (Q Box). Engineer came on 11th December and said a Sky dish was impossible as there is a high rock face just metres from the building in the direction needed by the dish. He offered me 'streaming' but at £51 a month it was too expensive. (I'm 80 years old!) He said he would report this back to his office, and they would send packaging for the Q box and router, and there would not be penalties as it was them that could not continue with the contract. So I have not been able to use 'Q' since December 6th at my old address. I noticed they had taken a d.d. payment after the engineers visit so I stopped any further payments. But I can't speak to anyone - just reinstate the payments, which I don't intend to do!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Shirley39 I'm afraid cancelling your direct debit and not paying is the wrog thing to do, until you reinstate payment Sky won't speak to you.
Once you've done this Sky will refund any payment they take, also you'll be able to speak to Sky and discuss any options for stream at a price that may be suitable.
