End of Sky for me

After 20 odd years being loyal to sky and all services the end has come to part ways (Price increase was too much) and basically they didn't care that I was leaving.

my service ends on Monday 7th April but I'm seeing future bills for my broadband but not the TV.

can someone explain why, because I'm starting to think they'll carry on taking money out and we all know how difficult it is talking to an actual human being.

I would check again once you have left Sky as it should then show a credit if you have an overpayment on the account because at present until you have left we can't say for sure why it is still showing a future bill unless that bill had already been created prior to you giving notice to leave.

Hi @MancLee   Are you switching broadband or cancelling it completely? If you are switching to another broadband provider on the Openreach network you shouldn't have cancelled Sky, your new provider does that to ensure continuity and keep your telephone number, if used.

Re: End of Sky for me

I've cancelled it and switching on a different network

You can't do both. If you cancel, there would be nothing for a different provider to transfer to themselves. Switching involves taking over an active service..

@Mark39

I had the option to transfer or just cancel. (For both providers) everything is in motion. It's not the mobile phone if you're thinking it was ??
