Double payment

Sky took a payment from my bank and I also paid. So my account was paid twice. I did not know that they took a direct payment. They won't refund me. I've complained to them over 3 times and waiting from my bank too

As you have a direct debit or card payment set up you should never need to make a manual payment as you have done. What will happen now is a credit will appear on your account for the amount you have overpaid and this will be used to pay your next bill so on that bill no money will be taken from your account. If you want the overpayment returned does the credit appear on your account because if it does we can arrange some help via here for you if you want ?
