Is there a time frame that a direct debit can be taken? Payments were agreed for 1st of the month, 1st fell on a bank holiday, but they still failed to take it out until 3 days later, leaving me overdrawn, any protection against this? The 'direct debit guarantee' states you are protected against payments taken on an 'incorrect date' 🤷🏼♀️

Other bills came out that would usually be rescheduled for later in the month

As noted, if there are bank holidays or weekends then, by defintion, it will be later (as the banking system is often driven by 'business days') - and not necessarily the next working day. I don't believe you have any recourse.

Nor do I. @LauraJade93. If you seek a reversal of your direct debit under the direct debit guarantee, Sky will naturally consider your bill to be unpaid
