Direct debit takes £5 less than the £42 bill?

New customer here just asking because it seems a little unusual, my bill every month should be £42, but the direct debit takes £37, rolling my total for month after to £47.

If the direct debit is taking less my bill will indefinitely increase by £5 every month unless I manually go into the app, pay that £5 and authorise it with my bank.

This means it keeps showing my account as Overdue even though the direct debit it going though.

Haven't been able to get through to a real person about the issue.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

It says the £5 was brought forward so what shows on your previous bill ?
