Direct debit payment still being taken out after contract has ended 13 days ago.
I phoned Sky 10 days before My contract end date ( May 2nd ) to say I would not be renewing My contract of £38.00 amonth, a return package was sent to Me, all the equipment was posted back on the 9th May 2025, the latest return date was 30th June 2025 so well with in the time frame.
I was told not to cancel My direct debit as SKY would handel every thing. Now £41.50 has been taken from My account when I do not have a contract - equipment - service.
AI chat service just goes round & round with No answers. Please Help.

It's now the 16th. Bills are generated 14 days before the payment date, so while you were still a customer.
Refunds should normally take about 6 weeks from your last day of connection, but posts on here suggest in some cases they’re taking longer. If your payment method has been cancelled Sky will either have to reinstate your payment method or manually raise a cheque via a back office team and post it to you so it’ll it further delayed.
We can potentially help you get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here if you wish.
Let us know on this thread if you want to do that but before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm in your reply if it’s currently showing as a credit on your Sky account and whether the payment method is still active.

Did Sky not tell you that you had to give 31 days notice to cancel your TV service and 14 days for Broadband/Talk and during which billing continues as normal right up to your final day so this amount you took could be due to this.
