Direct Debit increased without explanation

Can someone explain the increase in direct debit costs? Mine now sits at £103.00 per month. It is not for a longer period, as it was last month and expected this May. Up £10 per month, with no explanation from sky. I cannot see the reason in the billing breakdown anywhere. I cant get to speak to anyone in the UK, as the numbers are hidden well. I dont want advice from India. I dont want advice from a bot. How can i resolve this, other than cancelling it all? 13 years as a customer and not getting anywhere.

@DAN+SMITH  May be the Annual  Price rise that takes place in April each year?

@DAN+SMITH  Email and letters have been sent to all subscribers prior to the increase.  Have you checked your email address is correct and that emails are not going into the spam folder?

There is no specific number for UK advisers.

Have you also checked any discounts havent; ended?

Re: Direct Debit increased without explanation

No emails received to the only email address or junk folders. No discounts have ended. So £10 extra taken, unannounced. Thanks for your information. I dont believe there are no UK advisors though. They have called me in the past. Thanks for your help.

@DAN+SMITH

We haven't said there are no UK agents. All calls to Customer Services goes to the next available agent wherever they may be based.

Re: Direct Debit increased without explanation

Why can my mother call 150 from her account and speak to UK advisors every time then? Shall i buy a landline phone and plug it in, to speak to the UK? £103.00 a month, i want to speak to someone in the UK, to air my grievances and come to a resolution. Not through facing language barrier issues and not getting my point across.

@DAN+SMITH

Your mother has been lucky then. The only way you can do what you suggest is calling and hanging up until you get a UK based agent but that just increases the wait time for other users (so I don't encourage it) and an agent could tell you they are in the UK but they're not and you'd never know otherwise.

Re: Direct Debit increased without explanation

ok thank you. Yes i tried to call again and just went with it. I cant get anymore discounts as im under contract. They explained it is annual increase (£10 though, wow). Also offered me Sky Glass, but that saved me about £4.00 so decided to leave it. I will just ride the storm until September, then cancel the renewal. Thanks everyone!

Oh there are UK advisers, but you can't choose who answers your call.

Edit: looks like I'm late to the party..!
