Dear Sky,
I have had a letter from Capital Resolve Deb Resolution.
Capital Resolve Ref. S2250241
This does not relate to my property or me personally.
I have lived in my current flat for 12 years and have not had sky TV ever.
I have tracked down the Apartment this relates to and it looks like someone had used by name on the sky account for a place that I have nver lived.
I have never owned or rented this apartment and have never paid the bill for this service.
I believe that this is a mistake and it should have not been in my name.
Could I request that someone from your team could help me as I don’t have the funds to nor should I be paying for this bill.
Could I request the last bill that was paid and who paid it please as I believe they should be looking after this cost from 2009.
Thanks,
Alex Keates

Nope - this is primarily a customer helps customer forum. (You are not contacting Sky by a post here)
In the first instance you should contact the debt collector to try and resolve matters.

Sky don't really use email for general communication.
I suspect Sky will say you have to discuss with the DCA...

There sounds like a backstory to this...
Just because you've never paid any bill doesn't mean you aren't necessarily liable.
