Inflation going down doesn't mean prices drop, they just don't rise as fast. For prices to go down we need deflation (a very bad thing for an economy) and the last time it happened in the UK was 1960.

Tha fall of inflation should show the same level of price reduction as it does when inflation increases. That is a big part of the reason customers lose confidence and interest in staying with a company

When inflation falls, prices don't fall. They just increase less.
