Current bill compared to new members

How is it I am paying £96.85 for a pacakge that is far inferior to one a new Sky customer can get for as little as £39? I am constantly being told I am a valued member and a Platinum loyalty customer when I feel like I am being treated like something you would scrape off your shoe. What price loyalty? A high one obviously

Have you sought a discount from Sky? They won't provide one unless you ask.

Sounds like you are 'out of contract' so paying full list price.

To get a better price then you need to negotiate with Sky but this (like new customers) requires a commitment of 18 months.

The VIP scheme is not about discounts.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

@AndyRexVal

If you feel you're paying too much, and you're out of contract, give Sky a call and negotiate a new discount which will involve a new minimum term deal. Nearly all Sky customers are VIP members and being a VIP is not about discounted subscriptions. If you don't feel your subscription is value for money you shoukd perhaps look elsewhere.

@AndyRexVal

Just a "heads-up" the annual price increase notification (UK) is due any time now and needs to be taken into account in any renegotiations.

Passing on the tips I have learned in over 24 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.
