An update following my enquiry a few days ago. I rang Sky as noted in my previous comment, and as promised they have refunded my outstanding credit. The refund occurred today around 3 working days after my call. Cannot fault the assistance given.

Hi, I'm due a credit refund on both my phone contract and my broadband - could I request to get this sent asap so that I can then cancel my old direct debits

Refunds can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection providing the payment method is still active on your Sky account.
If you wish we can help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if that’s what you want to do but please confirm in your reply that the two amounts are currently showing as a credit on your Sky accounts.

Thanks yes they are both showing as credit and I would love help getting it back sooner if possible

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreTo see if they can help you I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later.
You need to watch out for a post from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread fairly regularly.

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

Hello,
I overpaid on my Sky Mobile account, the website glitched and said I had to renter card details, but it took the money twice.
I called and they said they'd process a refund and apologised. 3-5 days. 6 days later nothing.
Im now out of pocket.
Can you help please!!
