Credit refund after cancellation of service
Hi, I cancelled my Sky Stream subscription and it became effective on 12 September. I have returned the puck and related equipment.
As per the chat with the Sky representative, I should be refunded the outstanding credit balance "within 45 days".
The 45 days aren't up yet, however the agent also stated that "If you'd like to receive the refund sooner, you can initiate a refund request via the Sky.comwebsite after the cancellation is complete".
So that's what I would like to do please - no reason for Sky to hang on to my money for that length of time (especially having seen some people have been waiting for months for their refunds).
Of course there isn't a "request refund" button on the website, but I understand that my request can be escalated to sky using this forum.
Grateful for any help with this.

Refunds should normally take about six weeks from the last day of connection but posts on here suggest it's taking longer.
We could normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team but unfortunately that process is currently switched off and we don't know when it'll return.
At present you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in. Providing your payment method is still active they should then be able to refund it in 3-5 WORKING days.
NOTE: I only provide help on the forum boards so Direct Messaging is switched off
