Recieved an email from Sky to say there's credit on my account that needs to be refunded through cheque to be sent to address I no longer live at. How can I get this sent to my new address or via bank?

I have just received confirmation the Community Messaging Team may be able to help you with this if you prefer a private chat with one of the team in preference to calling. Let us know on this thread if you want to try that.

Re: Credit on Account but since moved home
The quickest method is for you to call Sky. They can either:
- raise a cheque and post it to you or
- reinstate your previous payment method and refund you within 3-5 WORKING days

Re: Credit on Account but since moved home
@EmilyD00 Have you called sky, or is there anything on the e-mail that points you in the right direction, if your DD is still open they can arrange a transfer.

Re: Credit on Account but since moved home
They have given me a number to call but just wants my sky number so they can send the cheque to the address connected to the account which I'm no longer at. It's been over a year since I've been with sky.

Re: Credit on Account but since moved home
@EmilyD00
I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Community Messaging Team should make contact with you later.
Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
This link explains what happens…

Hi there,
I'm in the same situation. I would like to arrange a repayment of credit but have also moved. Could you please reach out to me and arrange repayment?
Many thanks

Re: Credit on Account but since moved home
Is your payment method still active and can you confirm the credit is showing as such on your Sky account?

Re: Credit on Account but since moved home
You might be asked to restore the payment method otherwise a cheque would have to be sent out so to get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147
When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Thanks for escalating this @caesarome. We’ve sent an invite to chat.

@nasreenghani123
Before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm in your reply that…it’s still currently showing as a credit on your Sky account and if the payment method is still active.
