I had to pay £50 for a sky Q multi room box. The person I spoke to said that I would receive a refund for the box. I still haven't received a refund and it's been a couple of weeks now.

The fee you paid is an activation fee, this isn't nor ally refunded as far as I'm aware
Please note:
The right to cancel within your cooling off period doesn't apply if you asked for your TV service to be made available during this period.
You’re happy for your services to start during your cooling off period – you can still cancel in that period, but you will be charged for services received up to that point.
If you only ordered TV services from us, you can cancel your order any time before your viewing card has been used to receive the TV service you asked for.

@Kim141 what is the full story please
mini box fees are non refundable unless you have been charged a non return fee after cancelling your subscription and have since returned the hardware
if the above doesn't apply here you will need to call sky about this

I got a call to upgrade in January. The woman said the multi room box was free. After a couple of weeks I rang sky to see where the box was. The guy I spoke to said there wasn't an order for the box and would send one out for a fee of £50. I said that I didn't want the box if I had to pay £50. The guy assured me that I would get the £50 back, so I said ok. I wasn't even bothered about multi room but because it was on offer I thought I'd try it out.

Give them the date and time that you spoke to them and was told this.
