I called Sky in November to reduce my payments by removing Sky Sports. I was offered a new deal including SKy sports and I accepted the new contract. In December I was charged the old rate for Sky sports again and received a higher bill not the amount stated in my contract. I queried this and spoke to an Indian call centre worker who misunderstood me and cancelled Sky sports and now I'm being fined for the said cancellation. Help

If Sky Sports was cancelled then did you not query this after it was removed in error ?
